The Studierendenwerk Bremen is the social service provider for students in Bremen and Bremerhaven. We are an organization independent of higher education institutions, with a statutory mandate to provide economic, social, health, and cultural support to students at public universities in the state of Bremen.

Please note:

• As an independent public-law institution, we are not part of the University of Bremen.
• We operate the dining halls and cafeterias at the universities in the state of Bremen and are responsible for issuing filming permits there.
• For data protection reasons, we cannot contact students individually who are looking for housing.
